Growing up on Cape Cod has given me the passion and ambition to want to capture the beauty that surrounds us. As a kid I had a beautiful school bus ride that went across two rivers with a view of Nantucket Sound. I loved to memorize the view, the colors of the morning. The light, the tide, the marsh, the color of the water. The boats, the birds, the sky. The colors of the afternoon sun would change everything. The ride home was completely different. The scene changed daily and I wanted to capture it daily. I spend most of my time now exploring and painting the Cape Cod National Seashore.
