Having been enchanted with this peninsula of sand that I now call my home, I took up the brush and studied under Marilyn Schofield, Robert Mesrop, Rosie Nadeau and William Maloney.
There is so much to paint here on the Cape. The light bounces off the water all around us and makes objects look larger than life, ultra dramatic.
I believe my paintings have a spontaneity and vivaciousness that is hard to define. I paint a vast array of subject matter. I strive to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.
