Having spent much of my life by water, it is natural that the inspiration for my art be derived room the landscape around me. I love to paint outdoors and never tire of trying to depict the ebb and flow of the tide, the marshes and dunes. I have experimented with different mediums and discovered that the spontaneity afforded by pastel is ideal for capturing the rapidly shifing patterns in nature. For me, the process of making art is as intriguing as coming up with a finished work.
I studied painting and architecture at Bennignton College and have taken advantage of the many workshops and classes available on Cape Cod. My work has been displayed throughout New England and is incuded in public and private collections.
